About the Job

Maiden+John is looking for a Social Media Manager to manage our clients’ social accounts, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Coordinators plan, draft, and post content for each channel liaising with our clients and our advertising and earned media teams to ensure a consistent voice and messaging across platforms. Additionally, the social media manager oversees community management and growth follower campaigns.

As a New Yorker, you appreciate the diversity, architecture, food, and culture of the city. You have an eye for aesthetically pleasing design, and you can manage multiple voices across multiple clients. You work as fast as your thumbs can send the address of tonight’s late-night drinks spot.

More About You:

  • 2-5 years of experience in developing, activating and monitoring social media campaigns
  • Intimate knowledge of major social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Strong aesthetic sensibility 
  • Impeccable attention to detail and brand standards
  • Immediate knowledge of new releases, features, and trends on every social media channel
  • A passion for #hashtags #passion #passionforhashtags
  • Ability to create and hone a distinct voice and carry it across platforms
  • Messaging on point, every time
  • Collaborative, sense of humor, appreciate the value of media in today’s media-saturated world
  • Experience in activating social media at events is a plus

 

More About the Job:

  • You’ll work with multiple clients, most with multiple social media accounts showcasing and curating what is happening.
  • You’ll publish all content on behalf of our clients, making sure your geo-tags, captions and hashtags are on point.
  • You’ll work with the accounts team to stay up-to-date on all client news, events and content priorities.
  • You’ll understand social media metrics per platform and be able to monitor and analyze results as well as incorporate learnings into the content strategy.
  • You’ll utilize community management best practices to maintain clients’ accounts.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to be the voice of some of the most high-profile developments in New York City and across the country.
  • You’ll attend client events, comb the city for content, and leverage all media types.
