Account Supervisor, PR, Technology Team - NYC

BerlinRosen, a leading strategic communications firm, is seeking an Account Supervisor to join our growing Consumer Technology practice that works with some of the world’s most prominent and exciting technology brands.

Most of the candidate’s time will be working with major global technology companies; helping them to meet a wide range of communications goals in a changing media environment.  The Account Supervisor will help develop client strategy, manage staff and drive an overall workplan, manage day-to-day client relations, conceptualize pitches and media placements, and play an active role in business development. 

This position is available in our New York City office.

As a strong Account Supervisor candidate you would possess:

  • 5-7 years experience in consumer electronics public relations, media relations, journalism, or related field
  • 1-2 years of demonstrated staff management experience
  • Strong news savvy and knowledge of the media covering consumer electronics and innovation
  • Strong track record of partnering with blue chip global technology companies.  PA/PR agency experience preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments at once, work quickly and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with a team to meet group objectives
  • Degree or experience in a communications-related field
  • Familiarity with social media
  • A sense of humor!
