Accout Coordinator - Real Estate & Hospitality

BerlinRosen, a leading national strategic communications firm, is seeking an Account Coordinator to help our rapidly growing Real Estate and Hospitality practice based in New York. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter with strong media relations skills and previous experience working with clients across travel/hospitality, real estate, architecture and design sectors.

This position provides candidates with a unique opportunity to join a talented and growing team working on some of most notable and highly anticipated development and hotel projects in the industry today including Lower Manhattan and the World Trade Center campus, the redevelopment of the iconic Domino Sugar Factory, transforming Eero Saarinen’s TWA Terminal at JFK Airport into a new hotel and the restoration and revitalization of the historic Waldorf Astoria New York.

Job responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing strategy and campaign planning for multiple high-profile client accounts
  • Engaging with journalists, bloggers and influencers across all verticals 
  • Writing and editing persuasive external and internal documents such as press releases, fact sheets, talking points, and communications plans/pitches
  • Concepting and executing building and hotel openings, brand partnerships and placemaking events
  • Manage media monitoring, client reports and account updates

The position is ideal for candidates with internships/1 years of experience. Applicants should possess:

  • Familiarity and interest in New York real estate, hotels and lifestyle brands
  • Passion for staying plugged into editorial, social media and pop culture trends
  • Understanding of how to work with journalists and influencers at top-tier outlets across real estate, lifestyle, travel, art and architecture verticals
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with varying levels of staff, clients, the media, et al
  • Degree or experience in a communications
  • A sense of humor!
